What is changing?
All of the content on The Berkshire Eagle's website, berkshireeagle.com, will be available on a subscription-only basis after three stories per month. Subscribers to The Berkshire Eagle will have total access to the newspaper and to our e-Edition app, an online replica edition of the printed Berkshire Eagle newspaper as part of their print subscription. In addition, The Berkshire Eagle is offering digital only subscriptions.
Why are you charging for online content?
The Berkshire Eagle is asking its digital audience to share the cost of producing a quality local news report that is unique to Berkshire County. Newspaper readers already pay through subscriptions.
Can I sign on to more than one device to read news online?
Each account can accommodate one username and password that can be used on up to three devices.
Do you charge for special sections?
We do not charge for any special editions that are in the newspaper. All special sections are included with your subscription.
Why should I subscribe?
The Berkshire Eagle has the largest newsroom in Berkshire County and produces quality local journalism that cannot be found anywhere else.
Anything else?
Subscribers are offered the opportunity to purchase a gift subscription for non-subscribers who have not had an active subscription in the last thirty days at a discount. Subscribers are eligible to participate in giveaways throughout the year and can also receive account credits for referring a friend.
I am a newspaper subscriber who wants complete digital access. How do I do that?
- Go to berkshireeagle.com and click on "manage my account".
- Select "Registration".
- You will receive a validation email.
- Go back to "manage my account", to subscriber sign in.
- Fill in your username and password and continue the registration.
- You will receive a validation email.
How do I set up a new subscription?
- Go to berkshireeagle.com and click on "subscribe".
- Choose your service and complete the subscription information.
- You will receive a validation email.
