Bio

Jeannie Maschino is community news editor and librarian for The Berkshire Eagle. She has worked for the newspaper in various capacities since 1982 and joined the newsroom in 1989.

The Berkshire Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will present free Spooktacular events on Saturday, Oct. 30, in Lenox and North Adams. Silent films will be screened with live organ accompaniment by Peter Krasinski, an internationally acclaimed silent film accompanist.

Bingo has returned to St. Mary’s School. The first of these quarterly events will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, in the school gym, 115 Orchard St. Doors open at 1 p.m. and games start at 2:30 p.m.

The Friends of the Chatham Public Library’s Author and Artist Series returns with an illustrated talk by Belinda Rathbone, author of "George Rickey: A Life in Balance," at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, on the library lawn.
